The Blueprint
GelPact didn't begin as GelPact.
It began as Knuckleheadz.
What started as a simple idea to improve hand protection evolved into something much bigger.
This is the story behind that evolution.
Where It Started.
The Problem Already Existed
Before GelPact, athletes were already creating their own solutions.
Extra wrapping.
Double wrapping.
Knuckle guards.
Sponge under the wraps.
These behaviours all pointed to the same thing:
Athletes wanted more protection than standard hand wraps could provide.
The First Step
Knuckleheadz was our first attempt at solving that problem.
By integrating protection directly into the wrap, athletes could train with additional protection without relying on separate inserts or DIY solutions.
It was the beginning of the journey.
The Road To GelPact
As more athletes began using Knuckleheadz, we continued asking the same question:
How can we make protection even better?
Over the following months, we explored new materials, tested different layer combinations, evaluated different densities and developed multiple prototypes.
Every version taught us something.
Product To Philosophy
As development continued, something became clear.
We weren't simply improving a hand wrap.
We were developing a completely different philosophy around protection.
The mission had grown beyond a single product.
The vision had grown beyond a single brand.

The name Knuckleheadz reflected where we started.
GelPact reflects where we're going.
Today our focus extends beyond hand wraps.
Our mission is to better understand and manage repeated impact on the human body.
